Minor Illnesses – Digital Triage
Patients are now able to refer themselves to a pharmacy for minor illnesses, such as:
- Cold or Flu symptoms
- Sore throat
- Cough
- Diarrhoea
- Skin/Rash issues
- Hay Fever
Pharmacists are qualified healthcare professionals and can offer clinical advice and medicines for all sorts of minor ailments, with a same-day consultation at a time that suits you.

We operate a Duty Doctor System, this is supported by a “emergency clinician” approach, on the day, when patients are in need of our urgent care.

We would prefer you not to come down to the surgery at opening times, but telephone where we can offer the appropriate service.

These can be booked on the day.

Patients telephoning the practice will be asked for brief details of their urgent medical problem and a contact number which you must be available on.
A Clinician will phone you within two hours and discuss your care. Please assist our staff by answering the questions clearly.
