Minor illnesses – Digital triage
Patients are now able to refer themselves to a pharmacy for minor illnesses, such as:
- cold or Flu symptoms
- sore throat
- Cough
- diarrhoea
- skin/rash issues
- Hay Fever
Pharmacists are qualified healthcare professionals and can offer clinical advice and medicines for all sorts of minor ailments, with a same day consultation at a time that suits you.

Urgent appointments
To request an urgent appointment for today or tomorrow (Monday to Friday) during opening times:
- phone us on 020 8329 9920 between 8:45am and 10am
When you get in touch, we’ll ask what you need help with.
We will use your answers to choose the most suitable doctor, nurse or healthcare professional to help you.
Routine appointments
To request a routine appointment in advance during opening times:
- phone us on 020 8329 9920
- use your NHS account (through the NHS website or NHS App)
- via Patient Access to book an appointment, screening test or vaccination
When you get in touch, we’ll ask what you need help with.
We will use your answers to choose the most suitable doctor, nurse or healthcare professional to help you.
Get medical advice from a doctor or nurse
To ask a non-urgent medical question:
- fill out an ask a doctor a question form
- fill out an ask a nurse a question form
We will respond within 2 working days during opening times.
Duty doctor system
Phone 020 8329 9920 between 8:45am and 10:00am on the day.
Telephone appointments
Patients phoning the practice will be asked for brief details of their urgent medical problem and a contact number which you must be available on.
A clinician will phone you within two hours and discuss your care. Please assist our staff by answering the questions clearly.
Cancelling or changing an appointment
To cancel your appointment:
- use your NHS account (through the NHS website or NHS App)
- use the GP online system: Patient Access
- phone us on 020 8329 9920 during opening times
If you need help when we are closed
If you need medical help now, use NHS 111 online or call 111.
NHS 111 online is for people aged 5 and over. Call 111 if you need help for a child under 5.
Call 999 in a medical or mental health emergency. This is when someone is seriously ill or injured and their life is at risk.
If you need help with your appointment
Please tell us:
- if there’s a specific doctor, nurse or other health professional you would prefer to respond
- if you would prefer to consult with the doctor or nurse by phone, face-to-face, by video call or by text or email
- if you need an interpreter
- if you have any other access or communication needs
Home visits
To request a home visit please phone 020 8329 9920 whenever possible between 10am and 11am. Please be prepared to give some details of your problem to the reception staff. Please do not ask for a home visit if you can attend the surgery.
